2 Hours
Comments: I gentle walk with the wife. A popular and very busy route for families and children.

Thanks to Susan for the use of some of her photos.

The ferry ride out  that took about 25 minutes

Welcome to Lamma Island
It is the third largest island in Hong Kong
The village has a Mediterranean feel to it

Lamma provides an alternative to the hectic life in the city. Property and rents are cheap compared with those of central Hong Kong. There is a significant expatriate community here. It is also popular with artists and musicians.

Buildings higher than three storeys are prohibited and there are no cars

There is, however a massive coal fired power station on the Island
