Cheung Chau - Southern Coastline

Comments: A leisure walk with the wife. You pass some wonderfully named places like Vase Rock, Human Head Rock and the Mini Great wall trail. A nice Sunday walk. As always, the ferry back to Hong Kong will be busy
Take the ferry from Central Pier to Cheng Cheu.
You then need to take a Sampan (small fishing boat) to Sai Wan Village
Don't believe the guide books that suggest this will cost you 2HKD. Dressed like a tourist this is more likely to cost 50HKD
We got together with some other hikers and negotiated 10HKD each

After seeing this warning...
..the wife decided it was time to apply the insect repellent
That is Lamma Island in the distance and Hong Kong beyond that
This is the Mini Great Wall trail.. and you can see why

The route brings you back to the pier and where you can try some fish balls before heading back to Hong kong
